Today we gave Aunt Kathryn a break from us and went to the Houston Space Center. Andrew called it a space themed Disney place. For Andrew it probably was. First we went on a trip to see where the astronauts train. From there we went to rocket park and got an up close look at rocket ships. Then we drove by mission control and then back to the space center. We were also able to look and feel moon rocks. We of course let the kids play on the angry birds playground and they got to eat a hundred dollar burger (when buying seven of them). We finished the trip by watching a presentation about mars rovers and Andrew was pretty sure he could make one even better. Maybe some day. Then it was a 90 minute trip through downtown rush hour traffic to arrive to a yummy spaghetti dinner ala Kathryn. The night was capped off with a special Easter family home evening where everyone helped teach the lesson. That was the highlight moment of the trip for Nana. It was a great first day of April-minus the fools (other than the kids we had with us all day)!
