November: Balloon Ride

I went for an early morning Thanksgiving weekend grocery run with the kids and I looked out my car window as I about to turn onto my street and notice their is a hot air balloon sitting in front of my friend Susan's house.


I call her and she says her neighbor who is a hot air balloonist is giving free rides.



Andrew, Lizzy and I took advantage of the opportunity...or you could say were crazy enough to just "jump in."


The kids were all smiles as they ascended in the air about 100 feet.


Notice they were tethered to a rope so that they didn't drift away.


Up, up and away for Andrew and Lizzy!


Then it's my turn (notice my Saturday morning wardrobe, hair and makeup--BEAUTIFUL!)


It was a random and wonderful highlight to our Thanksgiving weekend.
