August: Sophie's 6th Birthday

For Sophie's sixth birthday she wanted to take her two best friends Paige and Saydee, along with her favorite sister Lizzy on a bike ride on the Bear Creek Green Way. My neighbor Lynley helped me get the kids to the Bear Creek Park and then we rode bikes for about 3 miles and ended our little ride at Red Robin.


The girls had their Chicken Fingers and then we returned to the house for Barbie cake and ice cream.


Sophie wanted a swim doll for her birthday. She continues to be my doll girl and it was no surprise to me when she said she wanted another one. This one is special in that when you put it in water it swims. My only surprise was when she picked a boy doll and we found it to be anatomically correct. She keeps it in a diaper at all times.



I thought Lizzy's birthday card was more for me than for Sophie. That was the cutest of all the gifts.
