April 2013: Susan's 50th

I had a friend who turned fifty this year. She invited 8 girlfriends to share 2 timeshare hotel suites with her in Las Vegas. It just so happened my parents were coming around the same time and could babysit for me so I went! What do 8 Mormon women who don't drink, smoke or gamble do in Vegas? Plenty!!!

We also celebrated Sharon's birthday. We were able to see the movie "The Host". We walked the strip and saw the fountains at the Bellagio and the gardens. We toured the m&m factory and the coca cola factory. We went to the wax museum. Ate at Cheesecake Factory, cafe rio, PF Chang's and we shopped!!! We shopped so much that Susan purchased two extra suitcases for stuff to be put into and others filled the empty suitcases they had brought.

The day we celebrated Susan's 50th she rented a Cadillac SUV limousine. We traveled in style while wearing some cute Tshirts Laurie and Melissa made. She took us to a fancy restaurant and to the circ de solei KA performance. Then we saw the lazor light show on Fremont street in the old part of town along with a pit stop at the pawn stars shop (a show I love on cable). We had a fabulous time. There was plenty of giggles and laughs. Ka Ka!
Thank you Susan!
