October: Andrew's Harvest Party

This year I signed up to be Andrew's room mom. I am not the amazing room mom's that my 1st grader and kindergartner have but the 3rd graders don't seem to mind. For their harvest party we made 3 dimensional halloween cards. The kids loved this activity and were very creative.

We also had a popcorn relay race (boys vs girls of course) and the girls one! Boys apparently can be fast but a bit sloppy.

Of course Andrew's tongue is wagging whenever there is competition.

Afterward we had a "who can pick up the most popcorn off the ground" competition. Again, the girls won.


Afterward they had snacks, hot apple cider, and talk time. It was no fancy shin-dig but the kids loved it!
