April: Pear Blossom Reunion

Brian & Kathryn Hall both began running this past year. We had heard word that Kathryn and Stu had melted away their former selves. Kathryn had just completed her first 1/2 marathon. She and Stu decided to come out on their spring break to Oregon to run the Pear Blossom. With their arrival, other family members wanted to come visit too! Liz came along with little Tom from Utah. Steven and Brianne came from Idaho. All of the siblings decided to participate in the Pear Blossom festivities. We also did a lot of other activities...

We were all present for Max Hall-Brown's baptism...

We were able to go and perform baptisms for the dead for our ancestors...

We had a family talent show...

The men went skiing at Mt. Ashland...

We dined out...

We chilled at Nana's and Uncle Brian's houses...

We had cousin slumber parties....

We had fun watching the Pear Blossom Parade...

We went to Science Works and Kid Time...

We enjoyed making and eating Seamus's famous panini's...

We decorated Easter eggs at Aunt Anne's house...

Aunt Anne organized the first of many Hall Family Easter Egg Hunts at the Ranch...

And then, there was the main event...

5k runners...

Seamus in 1st

Then Jill...
Then Brianne right after...

There were the Mayors Cup Mile participants

All the little ones ran it! Aunt Liz with Tom, Bridget, Max, Coleman, Andrew, Elizabeth, Sophie, Joshua & Delia, Nana, Grandpa, and Aunt Jill participated.

Then the biggest event of them all: The 10 MILER

Brian & Steven finished first!

Then Stu...
Then Kathryn...
Then Jason...
Then Taylor...
Then Anne...and her glasses...
Then our walker Christina along with little Eliza in tow finished!

It was an amazing family accomplishment and an amazing reunion! We even made the Medford Mail Tribune newspaper.

  1. What a great recap. I don't know if Grammie's easter egg hunt will ever match up to the one Anne put on at the ranch. Looks like ya'll had tons of fun!
